The rotor has a compressor part (2) especially mounted on a shaft, whereby the rotor primarily consists of individually connected rotation bodies whose geometric shape forms axially symmetrical hollow spaces (5a-h) between adjacent rotation bodies, and a cylindrical part (16) on the exhaust gas end of the rotor. At least two further hollow volumes (7,7') are provided at a distance from the rotor's central axis and extending from the exhaust gas end to the last hollow volume in the upstream direction.
