The invention relates to the field of construction and can be used for designing multilevel mechanised car park. Said invention is based on a multilevel mechanised car park using pallets for automobiles. The inventive method consists in turning a pallet carrying an automobile from a reception position inside a cage, and afterwards transporting said pallet inside the parking area during a very short time period, said cage and the equipment thereof being used as a universal unit for servicing a car during the parking thereof. The structural design of the parking area is embodied in the form an original automated line for parking automobiles. The receiving and swivelling device, the cage provided with a mechanism for synchronous horizontal displacement of load carriages and the pallet for automobiles ensure the operation of the car park according to the inventive method for parking.
