Apparatus for transporting load, suitable for being mounted on a vehicle D, comprising first frame body means 2 and second frame body means 3 that are mutually connected by means of hinge means 5 and are arranged for being associated with opposed edges C, E' of a portion E of a vehicle D, as well as configuration varying means L interconnecting said first frame body means 2 and said second frame body means 3 and arranged for varying the mutual angular position of said first frame body means 2 and said second frame body means 3 so as to enable a stable anchoring to said vehicle D of a portion E of a vehicle D, varying means L interconnecting 2 and said second frame body.
