A fused protein composed of a polypeptide comprising a specific amino acid sequence and a peptide for identification having been fused therewith, characterized by having an enzyme activity of transferring glucuronyl from a glucuronyl donor to an N-acetylgalactosamine residue at the non-reducing end in a chondroitin skeleton.
