The present invention relates generally to a process and system for providing a funded trust structure. More particularly, the invention relates to having a trust funded primarily by independent third parties, whereby capital reserves may be more efficiently deployed. One or more securitized notes may be issued based on assets from the trust, and commercial paper may then be issued based on the notes.
