Temperature of water in and out of flow-through cooler (1.16) is detected (1.15,1.17) and cooling capacity is set accordingly. Flow of water is maintained by single continually working pump (1.02) with pump delivery regulated on basis of temperature of water in and out of cooler. Flow through cooler is part of compression refrigerator with refrigerant circuit (2.08) having evaporator, compressor (2.01) and condenser (2.03). Temperature of water at inlet and outlet of flow-through cooler (1.16) is detected (1.15,1.17) to regulate cooling capacity of cooler to maintain water at about 8 to 12 degrees C. Cooler is part of compression refrigerator with continually running compressor (2.01) driven by frequency variable electro motor, with cooling capacity regulated by motor frequency. Several refrigerant circuits are used and backup pump (1.00) is provided.
