A method for sealing a hard disc drive, which comprises (1) a step of disposing a mold which is worked into such a shape as to form a space when it is abuted on the groove for filling a sealing agent for a hard disc drive, on the surface of a cover of the hard disc drive, (2) a step of injecting a molten hot-melt type sealing agent composition into the space formed by the mold and the surface of the cover, (3) a step of cooling the injected sealing agent composition to solidify it and simultaneously adhering the solidified sealing agent to the surface of the cover, (4) a step of releasing the solidified sealing agent only from the mold and removing the mold from the surface of the cover, and(5) a step of placing the surface of the cover on the main body of the hard disc drive.
