<p>The invention relates to a drum brake comprising elastically-deformable means between the hydraulic actuator and at least one of the shoes. The inventive brake comprises two shoes (16A, 16B) which are essentially diametrically opposed in relation to the axle of the drum (14) and which are intended to be pressed against said drum (14) by means of a hydraulic jack (22) which is angularly disposed between the shoes (16A, 16B). The aforementioned elastically-deformable means (42) are angularly disposed between the hydraulic jack (22) and at least one of the shoes which is known as the reference shoe (16a). Moreover, the stiffness of said elastically-deformable means (42) is less than that of the brake. Preferably, the elastically-deformable means comprise an elastic member (42) which is supported by the reference shoe (16A) in contact with the jack. Said elastic member (42) is, for example, snap-fit onto the reference shoe (16A).</p> |
