SEDIMENTATION TANK FOR REMOVING DENSITY CURRENT

PURPOSE: Provided is a sedimentation tank with an inclined plate therein for increasing sedimentation surface area and preventing density current. CONSTITUTION: The sedimentation tank comprises a rectangular tank with a water inlet hole(10), a baffle wall(3) provided at an end of a side thereof, a weir provided at the opposite end thereof, inclined plates(12) made out of heat conductor and distanced from the bottom of the tank, wherein distances of the plates(12) are adjustable, water temperature sensors(14,15) is attached to the both sides of the inclined plates(12), and a cooling device(13) is attached to an upper end of the inclined plates(12) and operated by temperature detected by the sensors(14,15).
