PURPOSE: A baking machine is provided to sense the moving resistance of a bag of a baking material, which passes a slit of a baking tray, and checks whether the baking tray is set or not. CONSTITUTION: The baking machine includes a body(1) which forms an oven chamber; upper and lower dough drums(11,13), set separately in the upper and lower sides of the oven chamber, which holds both ends of the bag of the baking material; a baking tray which is set between both dough drums and forms a slit for the bag of the baking material to pass; a drum driver(25) which revolves the upper and lower dough drums(11,13) clockwise or counter-clockwise; a resistance sensor which senses the moving resistance of the bag of the baking material which passes the slit of the baking tray; display panels which display that the baking tray is not set when the resistance sensor senses the moving resistance; and controllers which display on the display panels that the baking tray is not set when the moving resistance, sensed through the resistance sensor, is lower than the set point.
