PURPOSE: A duplex process method for a processor which processes an SS(Signaling System No. 7) layer 3 in a BSC(Base Station Controller) is provided to prevent the loss of call process association data when the processor is switched by operating the processor by an active-standby structure. CONSTITUTION: An SCCP(Signaling Connection Control Part) receives a CR/CC(Connection Request/Connection Confirm) associated with call connection from an active side. The SCCP transmits an SST(Subsystem Test), and receives an SSA(Subsystem Allowed) which is response with respect to the SST. An MTP3(Message Transfer Part 3) requests a CR primitive to an MTP2, and receives a CC primitive. The MTP2 generates an SLTA(Signal Link Test Acknowledgement) message without transmitting an SLTM(Signal Link Test Message) to a remote station, and transmits the SLTA to the MTP3.
