PURPOSE: A multifunctional phosphate film treating method capable of performing coloring and film coating at the same time is provided to create more various colors on the surface of metal by batch-process coloring along with film treatment during phosphate film treatment. CONSTITUTION: The multifunctional phosphate film treating method capable of performing coloring and film coating at the same time comprises the processes of preparing a dual treatment solution capable of performing phosphate film treatment and coloring by mixing chemical inorganic pigment prepared using metallic compounds as raw materials with an ordinarily used phosphate (mP2O5·nH2O) in an appropriate mixing ratio; and batch-process coloring and film treatment by dipping a metallic object to be treated into the prepared dual treatment solution, wherein a film having a certain thickness is formed on the metallic object to be treated by dipping the metallic object to be treated into the dual treatment solution so that oxide film formed on the surface of the metallic object to be treated is primarily dissolved and removed by phosphate, wherein the film is formed on the surface of the metallic object to be treated by chemical reaction of pigment constituents having metallic compounds as raw materials contained in the dual treatment solution in the process of forming the film, and wherein coloring function is also obtained when the film is formed by using pigment formed of metallic compounds instead of the film forming agents compared to an existing phosphate film treating method of forming a film on the surface of the metallic object to be treated by removing metal oxide using phosphate and chemically reacting film forming agents such as manganese, zinc and iron.
