PURPOSE: A CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) is provided to be capable of increasing the lifetime of the CRT and reducing the picture distortion generated at the lower portion of a screen by reducing the thickness of a cone part of a funnel attached with an antenna getter. CONSTITUTION: A CRT comprises a panel having a fluorescent screen inside, a funnel having a body part melted on the rear portion of the panel using frit glass, a rectangular type cone part and a neck part, and a getter attached to the inside of the cone part of the funnel for improving the degree of vacuum of the CRT. At this time, at least one portion having a smaller thickness than that of the cone part located on a reference line, exists between 30-50 mm from the reference line of the funnel cone part to the fluorescent screen. Preferably, an antenna getter is attached to the portion having the small thickness.
