PURPOSE: An electron gun for a color CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) is provided to be capable of restraining the deterioration of resolution at the peripheral portion of a screen by preventing the generation of over-focusing phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: An electron gun comprises a triode part and a main lens part. The triode part includes a plurality of in-line type electron beam emission parts for emitting electron beam, a control electrode for controlling the emission dosage and cross-over of the electron beam, and an acceleration electrode. The main lens part includes a plurality of focus and anode electrodes for focusing the electron beam on a screen. An inserting part(26) is protruded from both sides of the triode part, and the focus and anode electrodes. The inserted volume of the inserting part is the same at each bead glass(20) through a flange(24).
