The sheet-shaped publicity carrier (100) has at least one single-sided adhesive coating together with an information carrying layer. The sheet has a closed first part (110) and at least one further part (120) contained in spaced recesses. With at least partial involvement of window surfaces of road vehicles larger surfaces can be covered than with customary sheets. The publicity carrier is installable in a bus (200) and is adhered to the outside of the vehicle. The recesses are spaced apart by approximately 2 to 3 mm.
