PURPOSE: A home network device's manual data offering system and method is provided to enable a user to browse manual data of devices, connected over a home network, at a home network controller. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. A home network controller receives URLs, where manual data is stored, from home network devices(S10). The home network controller downloads the manual data by using the received URLs(S11). The downloaded manual data is registered at a help manual(S12), and a display request for the registered manual data is monitored(S13). If there exists a manual display request, the highest level list is displayed(S14), and a corresponding item is selected via a key operation(S15). Then, it is checked whether there exists the next level list(S16). If there exists the next level list, the list is displayed on a screen(S17). |
