PURPOSE: A trip device for overload breaker is provided to prevent a damage due to the over-current by forming the magnetic field around a trip coil to operate a trip bar. CONSTITUTION: A trip device for overload breaker includes the first core(12), the second core(28), a trip coil(16), a coupling portion(13), and a control circuit(27). The first core(12) is installed at a bracket(11). A coil(14) and a current sensing coil(15) are wound around the first core(12). The second core(28) is installed at an upper side of the first core(12). The trip coil(16) is installed around an outer circumference of the second core(28). The coupling portion(13) is installed at an upper end of the second core(28) and coupled to an armature(17). The control circuit(27) is connected to the current sensing coil(15) and the trip coil(16) in order to compare a reference voltage to a sensed voltage.
