A cylindrical oven, orientated horizontally, has an arcuate door 6 which slides in grooves 10 provided on the oven sides. The door slides upwards and towards the back of the oven. Also provided are an electrical heating tube 12, a baking tray, limit means 3 and a handle 5. The limit means comprise a rod and a spring gasket wherein the gasket secures the rod and are positioned at the back of the oven. The limit means can be released to disengage the door from the grooves so that the door can be easily cleaned.
