PURPOSE: An information input device of a communication device is provided to minimize the number of input times and a movement distance for inputting a character by adding a multi-directional input button capable of being inputted in several directions and inputting vowels by the multi-directional input button. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of buttons input consonants when inputting a character. A multi-directional input button(110) is moved in several directions, for inputting a different vowel according to a movement direction when inputting the character. If the multi-directional input button(110) is successively moved twice or more in inter-different directions, a vowel in which corresponding vowels according to the movement directions are combined is inputted.
