TENSION TYPE CATHODE RAY TUBE(CRT)

PURPOSE: A tension type CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) is provided to be capable of compensating the deterioration of tension due to the thermal expansion of a sub-frame while carrying out a heat treatment by attaching at least two STC(Self Thermal Compensator) metal parts having a larger thermal expansion coefficient than that of the sub-frame at the lower portion of the sub-frame. CONSTITUTION: A tension type CRT comprises a tension mask(3) having a plurality of electron beam passing holes, a main frame(7) for supporting the tension mask, and a sub-frame(12) for connecting the main frames with each other and supplying tension force. The first and second STC metal part(13a,13b) having a different thermal expansion coefficient, are attached to the sub-frame.
