<p>PURPOSE: An economical process for recovering metal copper through electrolysis using reduced electric energy, an electrolytic process for recovering metal copper from waste such as printed circuit boards containing metal copper, and an electrolytic cell apparatus for effectively producing metal copper from copper contained solution are provided. CONSTITUTION: In an electrolytic process for producing metal copper in an electrolytic cell comprising anode chamber and cathode chamber divided by porous member, anode positioned in the anode chamber, and cathode positioned in the cathode chamber, the electrolytic process comprises a step of supplying an ammonia alkaline electrolyte solution containing Cu(I) ions of diamine to the anode chamber and cathode chamber respectively; and producing metal copper at the cathode and producing Cu(II) ions of tetramine at the anode by impressing DC to the anode and cathode. In an electrolytic cell apparatus(1) comprising anode chamber(4) and cathode chamber(3) divided by porous member(2), anode(6) positioned in the anode chamber, cathode(5) positioned in the cathode chamber, and DC power(8) connected to the anode and cathode, the electrolytic cell apparatus is characterized in that the anode chamber and cathode chamber respectively include an ammonia alkaline electrolyte solution(7) containing Cu(I) ions of diamine, wherein the electrolytic cell apparatus further comprises regenerating chamber(9), supply passageway, recirculation passageway, and purification unit(12).</p> |
