PURPOSE: A PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is provided to be capable of improving the contrast of the PDP by minimizing the reflected light generated from the rear surface of the PDP using black line formed on a lower electric layer and a barrier rib corresponding to the peripheral portion between discharge cells. CONSTITUTION: A PDP comprises an address electrode(42X) formed at the upper portion of a lower substrate(48), a lower dielectric layer(52) formed on the entire surface of the lower substrate for completely covering the address electrode, a plurality of barrier ribs(54) formed on the upper portion of the lower dielectric layer for separating discharge cells from each other, and a fluorescent body formed on the barrier rib for emitting visible rays. At this time, black lines(55) are formed at both sides of each discharge cell on the lower dielectric layer and the barrier rib. |
