PURPOSE: An optical pick-up detector structure is provided to construct a detector used for an optical pick-up using sixteen photo-diodes to detect focusing error and tracking error so as to accurately record/reproduce data. CONSTITUTION: An optical pick-up that record/reproduces data using a laser beam is constructed in such a manner that a detector(50) for detecting a laser beam reflected from an optical disk(45) is composed of sixteen photo-diodes, and a photo-diode on which the reflected beam is focused is detected using a micro-controller(60) to detect focusing error and tracking error. Each of the sixteen photo-diodes is less than 30 micrometer. |
