Driven running gear for railway vehicles

The driven adjustable gauge running gear has four propulsion units (1), two axle brackets (2) and a centrally installed longitudinal drive. The housing of the longitudinal drive and support elements (4) fitted on it form a supporting chassis frame, in which the axle brackets, each designed as a swinging arm, are connected to the support elements. The two swinging arms are open on one side and fit round the axle gear belonging to the longitudinal drive. The axle swinging arms accommodate primary springs (5) which on the other side interact with support arms (4.1) of the support elements.
