The present invention refers to a device for selective blocking of drawers with overturning protection from among the blocking systems that allow the opening of a drawer and at the same time make it impossible to open the remainder of the drawers and therefore reduce the possibility of the cabinet of drawers overturning. The blocking assembly makes use of a small housing (3) internal and integrated in the guide (2) fixed to the drawer, that includes two vertically sliding stops (4, 5) plus a swivel (6) in the shape of a "C" prepared to receive the nipple (2.1) joined to the profile of the guide (2) of the drawer. A special design of the stops (4, 5) and of the swivel (6) allow the selective blocking of the drawers that there are above and below the open drawer. <IMAGE>
