Soil treatment device and cultivator shaft

A soil treatment device comprises a frame (1) that may or may not be driven and that can be displaced parallel to a surface of a soil to be treated. A cultivator shaft (2) is supported with rotation possibility in the frame. A plurality of cultivator members (20) extend in radial directions so as to enter the soil during operation. Passages may thus be cut into the soil top layer for promoting a good aeration of the soil. The cultivator shaft comprises a number of shaft parts (21 ... 23), each capable of rotation about its own axis of rotation and of enclosing an angle with the other shaft parts. The cultivator shaft as a result can follow unevennesses in the soil surface. <IMAGE>
