PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further precisely suppress an uneven ironing. SOLUTION: This hair iron 1 comprises correcting bodies 11 and 13 arranged on tip sides 29 and 31 of nipping arms in opposition to each other to nip and correct hair by correcting faces while warming by hot plates 67. At least one of the correcting bodies 11 and 13 is movably supported by the nipping arm so as to be protrudable and retreatable within a prescribed range to the other. Second springs 75 for protrusively energizing the correcting bodies 11 and 13 to elastically adjust the nipping state by the correcting bodies 11 and 13 are provided on the nipping arms, and magnet plates 71 are arranged on the rear sides of the hot plates 67 along the correcting faces.
