PURPOSE: An overload breaker having a sensitivity control function is provided to improve the reliability by performing a trip operation according to the over-current due to an electrical accident instead of performing the trip operation in a state of initial inrush current of an inductive load or a resistant load. CONSTITUTION: An overload breaker having a sensitivity control function includes a trip portion(10), a rectifier(13), the second condenser(14), a reference diode(12), and the third condenser(11). The trip portion(10) is formed with the first condenser(2), a switching element(5), a trip coil(6), and the first transistor(8). The condenser(2) is charged by a rectification circuit(1) connected to plural power lines(L1,L2). The switching element(5) and the trip coil(6) are serially connected to the condenser(2). The first transistor(8) is connected to a trigger terminal(7) of the switching element(5). The rectifier(13) is connected to a transformer(16). The second condenser(14) is connected to the rectifier(13). The reference diode(12) is connected to a reference terminal. An anode terminal of the reference diode(12) is connected to a base of the trip portion through the third condenser(11).
