PURPOSE: A food ordering system is provided to enable a customer to order food at a restaurant, and to pay the ordered food with electronic money. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a customer order terminal(100), an electronic money payment terminal(102), a ticket issuing terminal(104), an order processing terminal(108), a call terminal(110), and a central processing system(106). The customer order terminal(100) displays a food menu, and enables a customer to select a food among the menu. The electronic money payment terminal(102) recognizes electronic money, and approves the electronic money payment. The ticket issuing terminal(104) issues the ticket with food order, payment and sequence number data. The call terminal(110) calls the customer according to the order processing result. The central processing system(106) receives order data and payment data from the terminals(100, 102), gives the order a process sequence number, transmits the order, payment and process sequence number to the ticket issuing terminal(104), transmits the order data and the process sequence number to the terminal(100), and then, transmits the process sequence number to the call terminal(110). |
