PURPOSE: A PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is provided to be capable of improving discharge surface, increasing the efficiency of discharge electrode, and reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A PDP comprises a front substrate and a rear substrate. The front substrate includes a maintenance electrode made of a scan electrode(11) and a common electrode(12) for selecting discharge cells of a horizontal line. The rear substrate includes an address electrode for selecting a predetermined discharge cell out of the selected discharge cells of the horizontal line and a plurality of isolating walls(20) for dividing each discharge cell. The scan electrode includes a plurality of bus electrodes(11-2) and discharge electrodes(11-1). The common electrode has the same shape as the scan electrode. |
