PURPOSE: Provided are a waterproof coating material based on styrene butadiene styrene resin and ceramic, which shows excellent adiabatic property without separate heat insulator, and a method for preparing the same. CONSTITUTION: The waterproof coating material comprises 100 parts by weight of styrene butadiene styrene resin, 50-80 parts by weight of ceramic, 300-500 parts by weight of xylene, 3-6 parts by weight of reinforcing filler, 4-7 parts by weight of crosslinking agent, 2-5 parts by weight of antiaging agent, and 2-5 parts by weight of antioxidant. The reinforcing filler is carbon black. The crosslinking agent is zinc white. The antiaging agent is selected from the group consisting of amine-, bisphenol-, and sulfur-based antiaging agents.
