PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system for a moving walk, in which maintenance and exchange of parts or the like can be performed at a proper time and good timing, and if a failure should occur, the failed portion can be early determined so as to properly and quickly respond to the failure, so that the moving walk keeps excellent operation. SOLUTION: A control apparatus 118 controls various state signals of a drive system and various state signals of a detector system. A monitoring device 119 has a monitoring function for collecting and processing the data based on the signals controlled by the control apparatus 118 and then outputting the data on state monitoring, diagnosis, maintenance, and operation management. A display device 121 such as a CRT installed in a management room 120 displays the data processed by the monitoring device 119 in the form of a main screen and a sub screen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
