PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water absorbing material capable of obtaining excellent wearing feeling without water leakage, wet feeling and water exudation, being washable, and being repeatedly used. SOLUTION: A diaper is composed of an air-permeable top sheet, a liquid- impermeable back sheet and the water absorbing material arranged between both these sheets. The water absorbing material is a square wrapping cloth shape water absorbing material made of fiber, its cavity volume per 100 cm<SP>2</SP>is more than 10 cc, and its thickness is 1 mm-20 mm. The main fiber constituting the square wrapping cloth shape water absorbing material is a synthetic fiber the fineness of which is between 0.01 dtex and 2 dtex. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
