PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time lag of the start timing of main scanning in an X-ray computerized tomographic apparatus. SOLUTION: The X-ray computerized tomographic apparatus determines the start timing of main scanning by monitoring the concentration of contrast agent administered to a subject during preparatory scanning. The apparatus is provided with a speaker 19 for giving a guidance to the subject and a Real Prep. Controlling portion 21. The Real Prep. controlling portion outputs an audio signal to the speaker when a CT value of a tomographic image data acquired from the preparatory scanning or the concentration of the contrast medium reaches or exceeds a guidance threshold value, THguide, so that the speaker can output the audio guidance. The Real Prep. controlling portion further directs the execution or the preparation for the execution of the main scanning when the CT value or the concentration of the contrast medium reaches or exceeds a primary scanning threshold value, THmain.
