PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging apparatus for a device easy to use with a simple structure, in the apparatus for hanging a guide rail or the like used in installation work of an elevator. SOLUTION: A chain 32 is disposed between a hanging hook 30 fixed on a hoistway ceiling 2 and a rail bracket 31 fixed on a hoistway wall 11, and an electric winch 33 is disposed to the chain 32. A wire rope 5 of the electric winch 33 is attached to the guide rail 7 to hang the guide rail 7. For hanging another guide rail, the chain 32 is removed from the rail bracket 31 and is attached to another bracket 31a to hang the guide rail in a way similar to the above. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
