PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning type digital X-ray imaging apparatus for medical use capable of obtaining a clear X-ray image for both a hard tissue region and a soft tissue region by enlarging a dynamic range of X-ray imaging while maintaining the scanning type. SOLUTION: The scanning type digital X-ray imaging apparatus 10 comprises an X-ray generator 1, a subject fastening means 6 for fastening a subject, and an X-ray detector 2, so that the generator 1 and the detector 2 are provided to sandwich the subject fastening means 6 and an X-ray image of the subject O is obtained by scanning an X-ray slit beam B illuminated from the generator 1 to the subject O fastened to the means 6 is scanned while the slit beam B is moved synchronously with the detector 2 in the same direction D.
