PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice scoop, one operation of which has an increased amount of rice transferred to improve efficiency in transferring the rice. SOLUTION: The rice scoop includes a rice scoop portion 11 for scooping the rice and a handle portion 12 integrally formed on the rear edge surface 11b side of the rice scoop portion 11, and side wall portions 13 raised from both sides of the rice scoop portion 11 are integrally formed on both sides of the width direction of the rice scoop portion 11. Therefore, the rice scoop portion 11 and the both side wall portions 13 form a substantially U-shaped wall extending in the longitudinal direction of the rice scoop to securely hold the rice in an inside space 14 of the substantially U-shaped wall. Accordingly, the amount of the rice held on the rice scoop is extremely increased when the rice in a rice cooker is transferred. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
