PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothesbasket which enables a user to take the wash out of the clothesbasket in a comfortable position by making it possible to place a basket body on a surface for contact with the ground in the state of upwardly floating the basket body by means of legs and enables the user to fold the legs relative to the basket body in a less bulky manner. SOLUTION: The clothesbasket is formed by providing the basket body 1 with the legs 2 for positioning the basket body 1 in the state of floating the basket body upward from the surface for contact with the ground and is so formed that the legs 2 can be folded relative to the basket body 1.
