PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the judging precision of the dried condition of laundry articles by surely detecting the temperature of cooling water after dehumidifying. SOLUTION: A deficiency part 100f obtained by notching a part of a rib separating a cylindrical duct 100c and the inside of an outer tub 10 which become a part of a drying and circulating air course is formed to form a sub-drain path communicating the duct 100c with the inside of the outer tub 10 through the deficiency part 100f when an end face cover 101 is mounted to an outer tub trunk member 100. Furthermore, a cooling water temperature sensor 27 is formed projecting from the outer side of the cover 101 on this side of the deficiency part 100f. During drying operation, the cooling water after humidifying flows into an outer tub through the pipe 100c, and a part of it flows through the deficiency part 100f. However, on this side of the deficiency part 100f, water is accumulated by negative pressure by circulating air and water level is raised. Thus, the sensor 27 surely goes underwater. When blowing is stopped, the accumulated water flows speedily into the outer tub via the deficiency part 100f, whereby the water never remains there. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
