PURPOSE: A heat generating apparatus using power transistor is provided to utilize heat produced from the rise of power consumption during drive of power transistor. CONSTITUTION: A heat generating apparatus comprises a power transistor(10) having a predetermined rate power consumption, and which is electrified by the voltage applied to the base terminal of the power transistor; a conductor(40) formed of a material having a superior thermal conductivity, and which conducts the heat generated from the power transistor to the desired object; a temperature sensor(30) for controlling the base voltage of the power transistor in accordance with the change of resistance caused by the temperature of the conductor; and a heat prevention adjustor(20) for adjusting the heat consumption by directly varying the voltage applied to the base drive terminal of the power transistor.
