PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a liquid jet head at a higher frequency. SOLUTION: A driving signal generating circuit independently generates a series of first driving signals COM1 having two middle dot driving pulses DP1, DP2 in a recording cycle T and a series of second driving signals COM2 having small dot driving pulses DP3 in the recording cycle T. Parts of the middle dot driving pulses DP1, DP2 and the small dot driving pulses DP3 are overlapped with each other in the generated time periods. A decoder, a control logic and a level shifter control a first switch and a second switch. Waveform sections PS1-PS3 forming the first driving signals COM1 and waveform sections PS4-PS6 are combined to be supplied to a piezoelectric vibrator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
