<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which a warning of stopping the apparatus can be detected prior to emergency stop due to occurrence of an abnormality. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises means for scanning a photosensitive body with laser, means for detecting the scanning laser of the laser scanning means, means for detecting a period being detected by the laser detecting means, a control means for stopping the apparatus when the difference between a period detected by the period detecting means and a specified period is larger than a specified value, and means for detecting an alarm for warning the fact that the apparatus is stopped by the control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
