PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining nozzle of a laser beam machine capable of continuing laser machining without stopping the flow of assist gas, even when the tip end of the machining nozzle touches a work.

SOLUTION: The machining nozzle Nz of the laser beam machine using the assist gas Ga has a recess 5 to serve as a passage 2 for the assist gas Ga and a protrusion 6 to serve as a work abutting part 3 formed on the bottom surface 1 of the machining nozzle tip end.
