PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a normal-temperature pearlescentized concentrate which is stable in the absence of a fatty acid dialkanolamide. SOLUTION: A suspending and emulsifying agent in an amount of 15-25 wt.% is compound with 1-20 wt.% anionic surfactant represented by R<SB>1</SB>-O-SO<SB>3</SB>M or R<SB>1</SB>-O-(CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>O)<SB>n</SB>-SO<SB>3</SB>M (wherein R<SB>1</SB>is an 8-20C alkyl or an 8-20C alkyl-6-12C aryl; M is Na, Ca, Mg, ammonium, or triethanolamine; and n is 1-4) and water at 60-80°C, mixed with 1-20 wt.% nonionic alcohol ethoxylate and 1-10 wt.% amphoteric ionic surfactant under agitation, and stored at 45-60°C for at least one day.
