METHOD OF CUTTING, DISCRIMINATING AND BINDING LABEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cutting, discriminating and binding labels by discharging the defective labels to the outside after cutting, and binding only the nondefective labels with a tape. SOLUTION: This method of cutting, discriminating and binding the labels comprises a process for delivering a rolled label web 1 from the upper reaches to the lower reaches by a plurality of roller groups 2; a process for discriminating the nondefective labels 1a from the defective labels 1b by inspecting and determining the printed faces of the labels 1 by a surface inspecting device 10; a process for cutting the label web 1 with a cutter 20; a process for transferring only the nondefective labels 1a out of the cut labels 9 to a following process by a sorting mechanism 10 while discharging the defective labels 1b; a process for aligning, overlapping and storing the nondefetive labels 1a in an alignment table 50; and a process for gripping the overlapped labels 9 in the alignment table 50 by a chuck 71 of a chucking mechanism 70 and transferring them to a binding machine 80 to bind them with the tape 90.
