PURPOSE: Provided are a wastewater treatment method and a complex system for effectively recovering valuable metal in wastewater by electrochemically treating wastewater and recycling the treated water, reducing chemical cost. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of determining characteristics of wastewater, pretreating wastewater in accordance with characteristics of wastewater by adjusting concentration or pH of the wastewater, firstly recovering valuable metals using a barrel type electrolyzer, secondly recovering valuable metals using a cyclone electrolyzer, and extracting electrolyzing water.
