PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a put-in/take-out station for an automatic warehouse, capable of decreasing operation processes of a stacker crane, and shortening time for a load take-out/put-in cycle. SOLUTION: The put-in/take-out station STa is composed of a take-out station ST1 and a put-in station ST2 adjacent to each other. On a lower portion of a load receiving stand 10b between the take-out station ST1 and the put-in station ST2, a space portion X capable of moving from one station to the other station while keeping a slide fork 7 of the stacker crane in an expanding state is formed. Thereby, a retreating action and an expanding action of the slide fork 7 in a moving process are omitted, so that take-out/put-in cycle time can be shortened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
