PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof opening/closing unit for a vehicle capable of widely taking an opening of a trunk even when a roof is stored in the trunk by reducing in size a mechanism for moving the roof and the trunk lid or the like of a convertible vehicle. SOLUTION: The roof opening/closing unit 10 comprises a roof panel 2 mounted above a compartment 1a of the vehicle, a rear window 3 rotatably coupled to the rear side of the panel 2, a room link mechanism 20 for superposing the panel 1 with the window 3 by moving the panel 2 to the rear of the vehicle and moving the window 3 into the trunk 60 disposed at the rear of the vehicle, a luggage linkage 80 for openably supporting the lid 6 covering the trunk 60 forward or rearward of the vehicle, and a coupling mechanism 7 for coupling the window 3 to either of the lid 4 and the mechanism 80.
