PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive detector for turbidity of automatically rinsing water capable of detecting, by light transmittance of a liquid, a rinse completion and a new ink arrival at an ink switch of flexographic press to prevent an excessive use of rinse water and a wasteful ink discharge which jointly cause a doubled cost of increased waste treatment, an increased environmental load and a lowered productivity by an increased ink switching work time for the ink switch. SOLUTION: The turbidity detector comprises a photoelectric sensor 1 installed to check a rinse quality and a control panel 2 installed to detect the light transmittance of a liquid 4 and output rinse completion and ink arrival signals together with a status display of the sensor 1.
