A cooling device for a construction machine characterised in that a radiator (12a) and an oil cooler (12b) are separately placed relative to an engine (1 1) of the construction machine and are cooled by a cooling fan (15), that the o il cooler (12b) is disposed downstream of the radiator (12a) in an air flow tha t is generated when the cooling fan (15) is reversely rotated, that the coolin g fan (15) is stopped and rotated forwardly or reversely by controlling a hydraulic motor (32) through an electromagnetic selector valve (34) in a fan driving circuit (31), that the selector valve (34) is automatically changed over by a controlling device (41) having temperature sensors (44, 45, 46), a nd that the controlling device (41) rotates the cooling fan reversely when the cooling water temperature is equal to or higher than a set temperature and t he working oil temperature is below a set temperature, so that the working oil inside the oil cooler (12b) is heated through hot air having passed through the radiator (12a) and dust clogging the radiator (12a) is removed by revers e air flow. |
